Supplementary datasets for Xueshan site research paper

This upload contains two datasets from a study of Neolithic pottery from Northern China:
Dataset 1 (Table S1): Elemental composition data (via XRF) for 123 pottery sherds from the Xueshan site, featuring key variables like Period, Inclusion, Pottery Form, and concentrations of 9 elements.
Dataset 2 (Table S2): A complete descriptive catalogue of all 153 observed samples, providing the full archaeological context for the analytical subsample.
Dataset 3 (Table S3):A statistical table based on forming techniques, finishing methods, and decorative approaches documents the characteristics of samples from the Xueshan Phase I and Xueshan Phase II cultures.
Dataset 4 (Table S4):Component Loadings (with Orthogonal Rotation) for Analysis of the Xueshan Dataset.
