Canine diet datasets

This study introduces an intelligent system for creating personalized wet-food diets for dogs using a hybrid combination of machine learning and optimization techniques. Unlike standard commercial dog foods, the proposed model tailors nutrition to each dog’s breed, age, size, activity level, and health condition. By integrating a large ingredient–nutrient database with veterinary guidelines, the system predicts the required nutrient and calorie levels and then uses linear programming to generate balanced recipes that meet all dietary constraints. The approach improves nutrient accuracy, recipe diversity, and veterinary compliance, offering a data-driven, transparent, and sustainable alternative to conventional one-size-fits-all pet diets.
