Data and Code Repository for Selectivity Analysis of Bottom Trawl Codends This repository contains the complete dataset and R script required to replicate the statistical analyses, Generalized Additive Models (GAMs), and non-parametric permutation tests presented in the manuscript. The repository includes: Raw Data Files (.csv / .xlsx format): Complete catch-at-length databases containing carapace length (CL) for decapod crustacean (Parapenaeus longirostris, DPS) and total length (TL) for fish (Merluccius merluccius, HKE), including individual counts for both experimental and control gears across different fishing legs. R Script (.R format): The annotated R code utilized for data processing, fitting the catch comparison models (GAM) using a quasibinomial framework, evaluating smooth terms, and executing the non-parametric permutation tests (including length effects, gear equivalence, and commercial size proportions).
