资源简介:
Late Sunday, February 5, and Monday, February 6, 1984, an intense vorticity center associated with a sharp 500mb trough moved across North Carolina (Figure 1). A weak surface low pressure area was associated with this 500mb trough and moved from eastern Tennessee Sunday evening to the North Carolina coast Monday afternoon (Figures 2 and 3)--with very little pressure change until moving offshore. A1l temperature and thickness parameters indicated precipitation would fall as snow over all but southeastern North Carolina.
