资源简介:
Table 1 is a compiled dataset of bulk chemical composition of totally 2,305 deep-sea sediment samples collected from the Pacific Ocean, which were originally published by Kato et al. (2011), Yasukawa et al. (2016), and Tanaka et al. (2020). For trace and rare-earth elements, the elemental contents were analyzed by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (Kato et al., 2011; Tanaka et al., 2020). Contents of major elements were analyzed by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (Yasukawa et al., 2016). In the original analytical results, some of the XRF data showed values slightly below zero wt.% (Table 2). For statistical analyses by Yasukawa et al. (2016), the minimum positive value among the results was approximated to be the detection limit, and its half value was used for substitution of original data below zero.
