RNA-seq of single myofibers isolated from skeletal muscle of young and old mice

We report RNA-seq of single myofibers with different p21 expression level isolated from EDL muscle of young and old mice. We isolated single myofibers from EDL muscle of young (6 months) and old (24 months) mice. These myofibers were seperated to three groups based on their p21 expression value (RT-PCR). Three or four myofibers from each group were used for RNA-seq (Young-p21-Low (n=3), Old-p21-Low (n=3), and Old-p21-High (n=4). )
