IL-27-induced shifts in metabolism orchestrate the polarization of alternatively activated macrophages and mitigate inflammatory pain

In a previous study, data showed that IL-27 induced the alternative-activated macrophages, independent of IL-4. We investigate transcriptomic profiling to compare the difference pattern between IL-27 and IL-4. Overall design: The bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDM) were harvested and distributed into three groups: the non-control group, the IL-4 treated group, and the IL-27 treated group. Each group set three replicate experiments.
