Pan-European Freshwater Macroinvertebrate Dataset (2010–2015): Abundance and Methodological Metadata

This is a macroinvertebrate dataset from European freshwater bodies (mainly streams and rivers) compiled from multiple national and regional sources. It contains over 2.1 million records collected between 2010 and 2015, covering EU member states, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland. The dataset includes information on taxonomic identification (from species to higher taxonomic levels), sample location (coordinates and country), sampling methodology and abundance. The data have been harmonized and enriched with metadata, making it suitable for large-scale ecological and environmental analyses. Please check the README.txt before using the dataset.
