The equilibrium between the different parameters of the marine carbonate system —dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), partial pressure of CO2 (pCO2), and pH —is the core of ocean acidification studies, evaluation of inorganic carbon inventory, and air-sea CO2 fluxes. In this dataset, we collected surface data of DIC, TA, pCO2, pH, temperature, salinity, phosphate, and dissolved silicates from the west fjords of the Svalbard archipelago. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Available 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: This study was supported by the Polish National Science Center, Grant No. 2019/34/E/ST10/00167 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: Water column measurements: Salinity[±0.001 S/m], temperature [ ±0.01 °C], pCO2 [±1.3 µatm], Total alkalinity [±2 µmol kg-1], pH total scale [±0.003 pH units], DIC [±2 µmol kg-1], phosphate [accuracy of 99.0% and LOQ 0.1 µmol L−1], and dissolved silicates [accuracy 100.1% and LOQ 0.3 µmol L−1].
