资源简介:

This Zenodo record provides the processed datasets and results supporting the manuscript “Rising Global Species Loss Embodied in Oil Crop Supply Chains.” The study quantifies spatially explicit biodiversity impacts from global oil-crop cultivation (1995–2020) and traces these impacts along international supply chains using a hybrid multi-regional input–output (MRIO) framework (FABIO–REX3), enhanced supply-chain impact mapping, and structural decomposition analysis (SDA). Main contents - Gridded oil-crop distribution and land-use intensity (LUI) at 0.05° resolution (WGS84).- Spatially explicit biodiversity impacts (GeoTIFF) at 0.05° resolution (WGS84) - Country-level biodiversity impacts aligned with FABIO (CSV) for `LU_change` and `LU_constant` scenarios (1995–2020).- Supply-chain impact mapping outputs (RDS): 5D arrays for food, non-food, and combined final uses.- Outsourcing (tele-connection) matrices (RDS): producer–consumer country matrices for 1995 and 2020 (food/non-food; LU-constant variants included).- SDA results (CSV): driver decomposition of changes in consumption-based biodiversity impacts (1995–2020). The key indicator is potential global species loss (PSLglo), expressed as percentage (%) of global species (plants and terrestrial vertebrates) potentially lost due to land use. To keep values readable, most biodiversity-impact outputs store PSLglo as PSLglo × 1e8 (convert to percent with value / 1e8). The accompanying code were also included in this repository, and will publicly available on GitHub (ecological-systems-design/oilcrop-biodiversity-impact), facilitating the replication of all important analytical steps, including oil crop distribution assimilation, biodiversity impact assessment, hybridization of MRIO tables, supply chain impact mapping, and structural decomposition analysis. These resources enable further research into the biodiversity footprints of global agri-food supply chains.
