G strain was collected from a blood sample. This E. coli strain causes sepsis. In this study, this strain was in the double-agar method with Phage SHEFM2K. Our results showed that the sepsis strain was sensitive to the phage and produced clear plaques on the spot assay. The results of this study showed the host range of phi SHEFM2K and its possible applications.
