"In the field of deep earth exploration, moving-coil geophones are widely used (accounting for >90%), but suffer from severe phase distortions, which degrade the resolution of seismic data processing and imaging. This study proposes a zero-phase control method based on an improved state-variable filter with cascaded phase correction (CPC-ISVF), addressing the distortion caused by frequency-dependent phase shifts of moving-coil geophones. Experimental validation using a standard vibration table demonstrated that the phase-corrected geophone attains a zero-phase deviation of 3.06\u00b0(0.6--300 Hz), which has improved by 98.18% compared with 167.97\u00b0 before correction.This method facilitates zero-phase wideband output of the moving-coil geophone, enhancing fidelity of the seismic signals.This method is expected to markedly improve the accuracy of seismic imaging of subsurface geological structures across all seismic exploration domains, from oil and gas prospecting to engineering geophysics, by substantially reducing phase distortion in widely used moving-coil geophones. "
