Adipose-derived stem cell (ASC) has been considered as a potential source of cell therapy to treat multiple tissue defects. Particularly, ASCs can be fabricated into three-dimensional (3D) culture formats, which exhibit great potentials to promote tissue regeneration. We have previously fabricated ASC spheroids and ASC sheets with enhanced stem cell properties. However, we found that certain gene expression level was differentially altered upon ASC spheroid or sheet formation. Hence, their transcriptomic profiles were further investigated.
