State-Level Socioeconomic Microdata for Fiscal Capacity Assessment (2022)

This data set is derived from the 2022 U.S. Census Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS), which is intended for state-level variation of demographic, economic, and housing characteristics. This data can be employed for quantitative modeling of local adaptation potential and fiscal capacity for analysis of intergovernmental finance and resilience investment. This data encompasses variables of income, education, type of dwelling (owner or renter), and employment and can be employed for linking to climate and municipality-level datasets of finance for overall analysis of public spending capability and social vulnerability.
