Data supplement: Towards National-Scale Ecological Applications: Harmonised framework for LiDAR point cloud processing for vegetation metrics calculation
收藏资源简介:
This data supplement provides the necessary data to apply the full LiDAR processing and reclassification workflow to a single LAZ file. Different stages of the LiDAR processing workflow are showcased by the following LAZ files: 568539_2020_tava.laz is the original unclassified LAZ file downloaded from the Estonian Land and Spatial Development Board Geoportal. It corresponds to map sheet number 568539 in the 1:2000 topographic grid. The measurements originate from the 2020 spring campaign. 568539_2020_tava_fixed.laz is the intermediate output file after harmonisation, i.e. correcting the LAS file header and CRS. 568539_2020_tava_reclassified.laz is the final output containing points reclassified based on the rule set outlined in the corresponding research paper. We provide examples of the ancillary input layers used in the reclassification stage. The layers have been clipped to the buffered (500 m or 50%) bounds of map sheet 568539. The following ancillary input layers were used: 568539_ETAK_EESTI_GPKG_2021_01_02.gpkg is the Estonian Topographic Database GPKG containing vector layers needed for spatial overlays, i.e. E_601_elektriliin_j (high-voltage transmission lines), E_401_hoone_ka (building footprints), E_403_muu_rajatis_ka (additional built structures), E_202_seisuveekogu_a (inland standing water bodies), E_203_vooluveekogu_a (flowing water bodies) and E_201_meri_a (sea areas). 568539_dem_1m_2017-2020.tif is the 1 m elevation raster used to calculate HeightAboveGround. 568539_est_s2_ndvi_2020-04-01_2020-05-31.tif is the 10 m NDVI raster for the 2020 spring season derived from Sentinel-2.
