Breakdown of the volume of sparkling wines sold in France 2021, by type of wine

Among the various types of sparkling wines sold in France, sparkling wines with a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) were purchased by households in the highest volume (33 percent) in 2021. Champagne and non-PDO sparkling wines accounted for 23 and 24 percent of the sales volume on the sparkling wines market, respectively.
