Assessing Medical Errors in HIV/AIDS Treatment Among Young Adults in Sub-Saharan Africa: A Scoping Review Protocol

The study is a systematic investigation aimed at mapping the existing literature on medical errors within the context of HIV/AIDS treatment for young adults in Sub-Saharan Africa. Despite advancements in antiretroviral therapy (ART), medical errors remain a significant threat to patient safety, exacerbated by the complexities of treatment regimens and socioeconomic challenges prevalent in the region. This scoping review will explore the types, prevalence, and impacts of medical errors, as well as the demographic factors influencing these occurrences. Additionally, it will identify underlying causes and implications for treatment outcomes and patient safety.
