Chlorophyll and phaeopigments in surface sediment profile PE225-39@en

Chlorophyll a and Phaeopigments were extracted with acetone 90% from freezed dried sediment following the method of Yentsch & Menzel (1963): A method for the determination of phytoplankton chlorophyll a and phaeophytin by fluorescence. Deep-Sea Res 10: 221-231. Chlorophyll a and Phaeopigments were measured with a Turner 700 fluorometre following Shuman and Lorenzen (1975): Quantitative degradation of chlorophyll by a marine herbivore, Limnology and Oceanography, 20.依照Yentsch与Menzel（1963）提出的方法（该方法刊载于《利用荧光法测定浮游植物叶绿素a与脱镁叶绿素》，原文发表于Deep-Sea Research 10卷，第221-231页），采用90%丙酮从冷冻干燥沉积物中提取叶绿素a（chlorophyll a）与脱镁色素（Phaeopigments）。随后，按照Shuman与Lorenzen（1975）记载的方法（该方法刊载于《海洋草食动物对叶绿素的定量降解》，原文发表于Limnology and Oceanography 20卷），使用Turner 700型荧光计（Turner 700 fluorometre）完成叶绿素a与脱镁色素的定量测定。
