To investigate the central competence regulators (SigH, ComK1 and ComK2) regulons, wt and KO strains were grown to competence in CS2 medium. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of these four strains (wt and 3 KOs) at one time point. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for wt N315 strain (St29) and its KO derivative (deltasigH, St61; deltacomK1, St40 and deltacomK2, St41)
