CCP Chesapeake Conservation Atlas

<p><b>Open the Data Resource:</b> <a href='https://www.chesapeakeconservation.org/our-work/chesapeake-conservation-atlas/' rel='nofollow ugc'>https://www.chesapeakeconservation.org/our-work/chesapeake-conservation-atlas/</a></p> <p>The Chesapeake Conservation Partnership develops and maintains a series of conservation mapping analyses to inform conservation planning for the future. This information is grouped in the Chesapeake Conservation Atlas. The atlas maps existing resources related to the Chesapeake Conservation Partnership's long-term conservation goals and assesses possible influences on achieving those goals. The atlas identifies 11.5 million acres of highly valued lands for conservation, meaning lands with a high overlap of multiple values—as farms, forests, habitat or heritage. This is in addition to the 8.8 million acres of permanently protected land in the watershed.</p>
