中成药在香港有悠久的历史，自80年代开始，社会对中成药的发展越趋关注。中国香港上市中成药数据库收录了香港中医药管理委员会中的中成药名单数据，其中包含获发中成药注册证明书名单数据和获发确认中成药过渡性注册通知书名单数据。
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) patent medicines have a long history in Hong Kong. Since the 1980s, the public has increasingly focused on the development of TCM patent medicines. The Database of Hong Kong-Listed TCM Patent Medicines compiles roster data of TCM patent medicines from the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong, including two subsets: the list of entities granted TCM patent medicine registration certificates, and the list of entities that have received confirmation letters for interim TCM patent medicine registration.
