Global spending on IoT 2015-2020, by industry sector

Discrete manufacturing and transportation and logistics were the industry sectors which accounted for the largest spending on IoT (Internet of Things) globally in 2015. Alongside the utilities industry, these three industries were forecast to account for 40 billion U.S. dollars in 2020.
