Enterococcus lactis strain JDM1 has good probiotic characteristics, which has the potential to be developed as a new probiotics. Safety is an important aspect of the development of new probiotics, and prediction of potential risk determinants based on genome-wide information provides deep, complete early warning of potential probiotic strains. Therefore, it was sequenced and analyzed for virulence factors, antibiotic resistance genes, and genes encoding putative enzymes responsible for adverse metabolites.
