Understanding the experiences of mothers who are breast feeding an infant with tongue-tie: a hermeneutic phenomenology study. This project was a collaboration between the [https://www.westmoreton.health.qld.gov.au/] West Moreton Health Service District and the Australian Catholic University. The parties involved are: - Sandra Miles (Lecturer, Australian Catholic University), - Janet Edmunds Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Clinical Nurse in Child Health, West Moreton Hospital and Health Service, PO Box 878, Ipswich, QLD, 4305, email: [mailto:[e-mail]] [e-mail] - Prof. Paul Fulbrook, Professor of Nursing, National Centre for Clinical Outcomes Research, Australian Catholic University, and Nursing Director Research and Practice Development, Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane Literature review on tongue-tie to analyse the evidence regarding tongue-tie to determine if appropriate intervention can reduce its impact on breastfeeding cessation. Interviews with 10 mothers and follow up interview a few weeks later when some of the mothers had had the procedure to treat the tongue-tie on their infants. Data formats: MP3 audio recordings, hand written notes stored in original format in notebooks and journaling notes stored in original format in notebooks.

本研究围绕舌系带过短展开文献综述，通过分析相关实证证据，以判断适宜干预手段能否减轻其对母乳喂养中断的影响。研究共访谈10名母亲，并在部分母亲为婴儿完成舌系带矫治术后数周开展跟进访谈。

数据格式包括：MP3音频录音、以原始格式留存于笔记本的手写访谈笔记，以及以原始格式留存于笔记本的日记类笔记。
