Comparison of stress and non-stressed ovarian epithelial tumor tissues in nude mice. Overall design: We injected ovarian cancer cells SKOV3 into nude mice peritoneal cavity. Tumor tissues with good growth were obtained from nude mice, including 4 non-stressed malignant ovarian tumor tissue samples and 3 stressed malignant ovarian tissue samples. High-throughput profiling of miRNA from the collected ovarian tissue samples. We experimentally stressed animals with a physical restraint system that Anil K Sood designed firstly. The physical restraint system is constructed by polymethylmethacrylate which is either transparent or non-transparent, specifically 50ml centrifuge tubes. Sterilization of the experimental equipment was conducted daily. The physical restraint system had approximately 5 holes (u = 4 mm) at the bottom to ensure adequate ventilation. The mice were reared in a room (specific pathogen-free) with controlled temperature, and 12 h/12 h light / dark, respectively.
