The landscape design replaced invasives with a diversity of over 45 native species creating an ecosystem and sanctuary for native flora and fauna to flourish. Field grown bald cypress were added to augment cypress existing on the property. Habitats were created or enhanced such as a wildflower garden which the judges delighted in seeing hummingbirds using. This National Wildlife Federation certified habitat includes a meadow, hammock, and a wet area that incorporates native species into a naturalized landscape. The removal of invasives took over a two-year period. Creative Spaces mitigates and removes invasives on a monthly basis. A great bird-watching spot!
