资源简介:
In Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients, Pseudomonas aeruginosa is commonly associated with initial infection of very young children, which appear to be predominantly of environmental origin. Although successful eradication is common, subsequent intermittent infections may occur and eventually chronic infection with P. aeruginosa is established in the majority of adult patients. Here we report the genome analysis of 13 P. aeruginosa isolates from a single pediatric CF patient who was persistently infected with the same genotype of P. aeruginosa for over two years and developed chronic infection by 5 years of age.
