AUGMANITAI Open Lexicon, Version 1: Thirty Core Terms for Human-AI Cognitive Interaction Research

This open deposit publishes a curated lexicon of thirty core terms for research on human-AI cognitive interaction. Each entry gives a short operative definition, a context paragraph, an example, a delimitation against neighbouring concepts, and a brief theoretical or empirical anchor. Definitions are written to follow ISO 704 terminology principles: consistent naming, unique terms, and a definition of at most two sentences before context. The thirty terms are grouped in three layers. Flagship constructs name the interaction-system as a unit of analysis, including Third-Space Emergence and Cognitive Coupling Intensity. Methodological terms name workflow and research choices, including the Verification Principle, the Responsibility Gradient, and single-case observation. Phenomenological terms name recurrent patterns in long-form dialogue, including Cold Coining Moments and Temporal Rhythm. Each term carries a stable machine-readable term code. This lexicon is the public terminology layer of the AUGMANITAI research programme. Calibration parameters, operational procedures, and applied workflows are out of scope.
