AdditionalAcquisitions

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, in conjunction with our partners, provided funding through Section 6 grants to purchase lands in San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego Counties for conservation.  These properties provide habitat and other import functions for numerous Threatened, Endangered or sensitive species.  These layers included in this feature layer show the general locations of the properties that were acquired.  Some locations also include a description of the property, who our partners are, cost of the property, and the habitat and/or species that will be protected.  Please visit our Carlsbad Fish and Wildlife 2020 Highlights report located here - https://fws.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Cascade/index.html?appid=de3b646f2db244dc8b20b0669aff1485, where you can learn about some of the accomplishments the Carlsbad Fish and Wildlife Office had during Fiscal Year 2020.
