RNA of soybean cyst nematode (SCN) pre-parasitic second-stage juveniles was sequenced to identify novel viruses infecting SCN. Inbred populations OP25 and OP50 were both sequenced. Host ribosomal RNA was depleted before sequencing via Illumina MiSeq to increase coverage of potential viruses.
