Multibeam bathymetry raw data (Kongsberg EM712 entire dataset) of RV MARIA S. MERIAN during cruise MSM118

During cruise MSM118 (June 20 – July 2, 2023), bathymetric data were collected using the Kongsberg Simrad EM122 and EM712 multibeam echosounders on RV MARIA S. MERIAN. The EM712 was deployed selectively in shallow waters (40–200 m) of the Nova Scotian continental shelf. It captured high-resolution bathymetry and backscatter data, also using equidistant beam spacing and motion-corrected beamforming. The EM712 datasets enable detailed mapping of shallow sedimentary structures and pockmark distributions, complementing EM122 observations.
