1:10 Uplands Virgin Branch Pueblo: Section Cut

[**UNLV Southwestern Archaeology and Indigenous Technologies Lab**](https://www.unlv.edu/anthro/sw-archaeology-lab) This scale model of an Uplands Virgin Branch Pueblo room is derived from the digital reconstruction of Feature 8 from the Lava Ridge Ruin site. The digital reconstruction, via Building Information Modeling, allowed me to physically model the topography, wall thickness and height, and the roof composition. In addition, this allowed me to repeat my experiment on determining the correct ratio for the mortar and plaster. As a result, this model has stood for over a year and has no sign of mortar and/or plaster decompostion.
