Synchronous wind, wave and rain dataset from Sentinel-1 during tropical cyclones in 2016-2024

Datasets consisting of wind speed, wind direction, significant wave height, and rain rate data from 357 Sentinel-1 observations of tropical cyclines during 2016-2024, generated using an XGBoost machine learning model (see Shao et al., Synchronous wind, wave and rain dataset from Sentinel-1 during tropical cyclones in 2016-2024, under review). The data can be used to quantify compound hazards induced by coupled wind-wave-rain interactions during tropical cyclones.

本数据集包含2016-2024年间357次热带气旋的哨兵-1号（Sentinel-1）观测数据，数据类型涵盖风速、风向、有效波高与降雨率，通过XGBoost（极限梯度提升）机器学习模型生成（详见Shao等《2016-2024年热带气旋期间哨兵-1号同步风浪雨数据集》，处于同行评审阶段）。该数据集可用于量化热带气旋期间风浪雨耦合相互作用诱发的复合灾害。
