Detailed Watersheds - Ashtabula County

The Lake Erie portion of this coverage was created as part of a project to develop coverages useful for environmental, land use, planning and erosion analyses along Lake Erie in northern Ohio. The portion of the county that drains into the Ohio River was completed under a section 319 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The purpose of this coverage is to delineate drainage areas which can be used in water quality and quantity studies. Data Update Frequency: As Needed.
