Re-annotation of Nicotiana benthamiana lab strains

Re-annotation of the genomes of two Nicotiana benthamiana lab strains using a combination of homology-based gene prediction with GeMoMa and RNA-seq based gene prediction with GeMoRNA.

For each strains, we provide two levels of annotation, "high_medium", containing only predictions with high or medium confidence and "high-low", additionally containing low-confidence predictions. In addition to the annotations in GFF format referring to genomic coordinates on the above-mentioned reference genomes, we provide protein sequences of the annotated transcripts. Based on the protein sequences, functional annotation and GO terms have been assigned by PANNZER2 and are provided as supplementary files.
