Parkes observations for project P885 semester 2023APRS_08

We request a continued modest monitoring cadence of once every 10 days for two radio magnetars, to track their rotation, flux density, and polarisation. 1E 1547.0-5408 has just suffered a 'hiccup' in radiative properties as well as in its rotation, and the near-term response to this event remains unclear. Swift J1818.0-1607 remains quite dynamic, and the unique UWL capabilities promise new opportunities to probe still mysterious radio emission mechanisms in magnetars. We will observe XTE J1810-197 and PSR J1622-4950, which has just ceased emission, less frequently. The overall request is 18 hours.

我们请求对两颗射电磁星（radio magnetar）维持每10天一次的适度监测频次，以追踪其自转、流量密度与偏振特性。其中1E 1547.0-5408刚刚在辐射特性与自转方面出现了暂态跳变（hiccup），目前针对该事件的短期响应机制仍不明确。Swift J1818.0-1607仍处于高度活跃状态，其独特的UWL观测能力有望为探究磁星中至今仍未明晰的射电辐射机制提供全新契机。我们将以更低的监测频率对XTE J1818-197以及刚刚停止辐射的PSR J1622-4950开展观测。本次观测总时长申请为18小时。
