Assessing the Impact of Rising US Tariffs on Global Wood Product Markets (Supplementary Material)

This dataset contains input and output data for the study "Assessing the Impact of Rising US Tariffs on Global Wood Product Markets", where the impact of different US tariff regimes on the forest sector is investigated in two steps. First, estimating country-specific Armington elasticities for US imports of wood products. Second, incorporating these elasticities into the partial equilibrium model TiMBA to analyze the distributional effects of US protectionist measures on global timber markets. Input data for the econometric analysis is given in parquet format, input data for the TiMBA model are given in xlsx format and the data container with output from the TiMBA model in pkl format. To access the latter it is recommended to use the tool TiMBA_Charts (https://pypi.org/project/TiMBA-Charts/).
