Announcement of Availability of The TIGER/Line Files, 1994 CD-ROM:

The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) of the U.S.Department of
Transportation, in cooperation with the Bureau of Census, has released
the Tiger/Line Files, 1994 on CD-ROM.

The TIGER/Line Files, 1994 are extracts of selected geographic and
cartographic information from the Census Bureau's TIGER (Topologically
Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing) System. The files
define Traffic Analysis Zones as recognized in the Census
Transportation Planning Package (CTPP). The files also reflect an
increase in the editing of address ranges and new ZIP+4 Codes derived
from the latest matching with the Address Control File and the United
States Postal Service (USPS) files. Additionally, the files show an
improvement in the consistency of highway names and feature
identifiers throughout the United States.

The TIGER/Line Files, 1994 are available, by region, on a set of six
CD-ROMs. These files are in limited supply from BTS and orders will
be filled until the inventory is exhausted. One CD-ROM per customer
will be distributed. When ordering a CD-ROM, please cite the state
