Images and Site Records from a Historic Building Recording Survey at Hall Barn Farm, Lilton, Derbyshire March-May 2025

The collection consists of images and site records from a programme of historic building recording by TJC Heritage Ltd. Work occured at Hall Farm Barn, Hall Lane, Litton, Derbyshire, from March to May 2025. The building is vernacular in style, constructed in local materials and retains evidence for its former use and later evolution, including the original hay loft, later stabling and the addition of a further animal barn in the form of the 20th century lean-to positioned against the building's west elevation. Overall it is considered that the building is a good example of an early 19th century barn with later adaptations undertaken to meet the changing requirements of the farm.
