STEM Opportunity in Southeast Michigan

<p>Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan (GSSEM) with the support of General Motors, contracted Data Driven Detroit (D3) to provide a better understanding of the state of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) offerings reported in the region. </p><p><br />This interactive report incorporates state and federal data sources to show where students in Southeast Michigan are performing well. The primary areas that the report focuses on are: <br /></p><ol><li>STEM-related standardized testing</li><li>Advanced Placement level (AP-level) STEM courses</li><li>Access to STEM classes taught by <a href='https://ocrdata.ed.gov/assets/downloads/2017-18_Master_List_of_CRDC_Definitions.pdf' target='_blank' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'>certified </a>teachers</li></ol>
