Single cell RNA sequencing revealed the heterogeneity of quiescent pancreatic stellate cells and the impact of T2D

PSCs are the origin of CAFs. However, the heterogeneity of qPSCs is unknown. The effect of T2D on qPSC has not been elucidated. We analyze the heterogeneity of qPSCs and the impact of T2D.qPSCs were isolated and cultured from 8-week-old female wild type C57BL/6J mice (WT) and C57BLKS/J-m+/+Leprdb homozygous (db/db) mice were used. To understand the heterogeneity of qPSCs, we performed a droplet-based single cell transcriptomic analysis (10 x Chromium) using cultured qPSCs within one week after the isolation to avoid activation and increase cell number.
