Triticum dicoccoides cultivar:natural collections Raw sequence reads

This study utilizes a whole-genome sequencing (WGS) panel of wild emmer wheat (WEW), consisting of 291 accessions conserved in the Wheat Genetics Resource Center (WGRC) gene bank at Kansas State University (KSU). The geographical origins of these accessions encompass the Middle Eastern territories, primarily Israel, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran. Our investigation delves into the population composition of WEW through phylogenetic clustering, principal component analysis (PCA), and population structure analysis. Additionally, we subjected this panel to screenings for disease resistance against various strains of leaf, stem, and stripe rusts. In this archive, we have deposited the raw sequencing data of these accessions.
