ICW-Horizon v1.0: A Dataset for Horizon Detection in Ice-Covered Waters

This benchmark dataset contains 717 images of ice-covered waters manually annotated with horizon line ground truth. The dataset includes two operational perspectives: 599 boat-based images and 118 drone-based images. Annotations were created using CVAT (Computer Vision Annotation Tool) and validated for precision. The original source videos are preserved alongside the extracted frames to ensure data provenance and enable potential temporal sequence analysis.
