Namoi CMA vegetation extant map, 2013. VIS_ID 4028

An extant vegetation map was developed for the Namoi Catchment Management Authority (Namoi CMA) in 2009 by integrating all existing spatial datasets, undertaking some targeted mapping in identified gaps, and applying a standard regional vegetation community (RVC) classification (ELA 2009a). A pre-European vegetation map was also assembled in 2009 by extrapolating RVCs into the modified landscape using landscape association information and remnant tree point data (ELA 2009b).
