These memorials relate to mortgages placed on sheep, cattle and horses. They are arranged numerically, and give the date and number of the memorial; names and addresses of mortgagor and mortgagee; names of witnesses; amount paid and terms; and the number, brands and distinctive marks of the animals mortgaged. Included is the name of the superintendent or overseer of the stock.
