IMOS SOOP Underway Data from AIMS Vessel RV Cape Ferguson Trip 6456 From 05 Jul 2016 To 08 Jul 2016

'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Cape Ferguson Trip 6456.\n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Seawater Intake Temperature at 1.9m on trip 6456 from 05 Jul 2016 through to 08 Jul 2016, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a SBE 38 remote temperature sensor manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 38. \n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 1.9m on trip 6456 from 05 Jul 2016 through to 08 Jul 2016, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a SBE 21 conductivity cell manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 21. \n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Turbidity at 1.9m on trip 6456 from 05 Jul 2016 through to 08 Jul 2016, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT. \n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Fluorescence at 1.9m on trip 6456 from 05 Jul 2016 through to 08 Jul 2016, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.

机遇船舶观测计划（Ships of Opportunity，SOOP）是澳大利亚综合海洋观测系统（Integrated Marine Observing System，IMOS）项目下设的观测设施。本次数据集由SOOP子设施“热带研究船传感器系统”在“开普弗格森号”（RV Cape Ferguson）第6456次航次中采集完成。

本次航次于2016年7月5日至7月8日期间，在1.9米水深处部署了用于测量海水取水温度的仪器，安装位置位于“开普弗格森号”（RV Cape Ferguson）上。所用传感器为海鸟电子股份有限公司（Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc.）生产的SBE 38型远程温度传感器。

本次航次同期还在1.9米水深处部署了用于测量盐度的仪器，安装位置同样位于“开普弗格森号”（RV Cape Ferguson）上。所用传感器为海鸟电子股份有限公司（Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc.）生产的SBE 21型电导率传感器。

本次航次同期在1.9米水深处部署了用于测量浊度的仪器，安装位置位于“开普弗格森号”（RV Cape Ferguson）上。所用传感器为Wetlabs公司生产的FLNTU-RT型光学传感器（可同时测量浊度与荧光）。
