Ecologica Barcaldine Aridland Botanical Gardens and Park 1

This project will protect and enhance plant species and communities by developing the Barcaldine Botanic Gardens and Park to preserve and improve significant Desert Uplands ecologies. Activities will include indigenous plant and animal facets as well as plant identification, specimen and seed collection, weed treatment, remedial environmental works and ecotourism infrastructure.

本项目将通过升级打造巴卡尔丁植物园与公园（Barcaldine Botanic Gardens and Park），对具有重要价值的荒漠高地（Desert Uplands）生态体系进行保护与改良，以此实现植物物种与植物群落的保护与优化升级。相关工作内容涵盖本土动植物相关研究与保护工作、植物物种鉴定、标本与种子采集、杂草综合治理、环境修复工程以及生态旅游基础设施建设。
