资源简介:
In this study, we combined two global databases to test for the relationship between local population trends and range shift velocities among marine fishes. Population trend was used as a response variable and range shift velocity as the main predictor. We also tested how population trends are impacted by the interaction between range shift velocity and the spatial position/ thermal position of populations.
Population trends and range shift velocities were obtained from the BioTIME database (Dornelas et al. 2018) and BioShifts database (Comte et al. 2020) respectively. Climatic data were obtained from the Bio-ORACLE database (Tyberghein et al. 2012, Assis et al. 2018). Occurrence data were obtained from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF.org). Information about commercial status was obtained from FishBase (Froese and Pauly 2022).
