资源简介:
Dataset descriptionThis data archive contains the data supporting the analyses and results presented in the associated publication “Tree species diversity drives aboveground carbon sequestration through light-related trait shifts”.The dataset consists of three Excel files:DS1: Plot-level dataPlot-level data including experimental design variables, functional diversity, stand biomass components, canopy structure, and functional traits calculated as unweighted means and basal-area weighted community-weighted means. Each row represents one experimental plot.DS2: Species-by-plot-level dataSpecies-level data nested within plots, including aboveground woody biomass, functional traits, and growth variables. Each row represents one species within one experimental plot. These data were used to calculate community-weighted means and functional diversity metrics.DS3: Net diversity effects (NDE)Plot-level net diversity effects for biomass components, canopy structure, and trait-associated responses, expressed relative to the corresponding monocultures. Positive values indicate overyielding in mixtures, whereas negative values indicate underyielding. Each row represents one experimental mixture plot. All variables are described using clear and consistent column names. Units are provided where applicable. Missing values are coded as n.a.. No personal or sensitive information is included.Relationship to the associated articleThese data were used to generate the figures, tables, and statistical analyses presented in the associated article. Details of the experimental design, sampling protocols, trait measurements, and statistical methods are provided in the publication.File formatData are provided as Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) files. Each file contains a single worksheet.
