资源简介:
A Spatial Multi Criteria Evaluation was applied to map a suitability index (ranging from 0: low suitability to 1: high suitability) for Ebola spillover from animals to humans in regions in Guinea, (2013), Congo (2001, 2003) and Gabon (2001).(/br) Variables included in the study: 1) presence of animal species that are potential reservoirs of Ebola or potentially involved in the transmission of Ebola virus to humans, 2) environmental factors potentially impacting the contact between wildlife and human population, 3) climatic factors potentially associated with the virus dynamics or the host ecology, 4) factors related to the consumption and commercialization of bushmeat. The relative importance of the different factors was assessed from bibliographic review. A full description of the methodology is presented in (Lee Cruz, 2020).
